KABLITO
KABLITO is a contemporary Latin artist and model from Guayaquil, Ecuador. Her fiercely unique sound blends the latin rhythm’s of her heritage with indie/pop sensibilities, fusing reggaeton and dancehall beats with lush, captivating melodies.
The Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter continues to evolve through collaborations with some of the best producers in the industry, including Tainy, DVLP, Samuel Kareem, and others. She’s received press coverage from respected publications such as The Fader, Paper, Vogue, Remezcla and Flaunt Magazine and Milk, amongst others.
In 2020 she released her second EP, Sentimental. The project received support by multiple US, Latin, and European publications, including I-D, Rolling Stone and HIGHXTAR. Through songs like “Baby Bye Bye” and “Conmigo,” Kablito navigates the twisted layers of love: Genesis, Anger, Sadness, Hope, Empowerment, and Growth. It is with each song that she shows us not only the loss of her love, but an exploration of herself.
Through her work, Kablito seeks to break the existing barriers between Latin music and the Alternative space. Her ability to fuse her two worlds into music in such a fresh, and unique fashion, make her one of the most exciting new voices for Latin culture.
